How to teach it
- 1'Cloud' = the CORNER sinks to the flat while a safety rotates to that deep third — the opposite of sky.
- 2Good vs strong flat/perimeter runs since the corner is the force player.
- 3Communicate which side is cloud pre-snap so the safety rotation is right.
Common mistakes to fix
- !Corner and safety both play deep and no one has the flat; fix by drilling the corner-down, safety-over exchange.
- !Safety is late to the deep third; fix by teaching an early pre-snap rotation cue.
