How to teach it

  • 1Backers creep to the line to LOOK like a blitz, then bail into their zones at the snap to confuse the QB's read.
  • 2The bail must be timed to the snap — not early (tips it) or late (gives up the zone).
  • 3This is a disguise tool — the actual coverage behind it must stay sound.

Common mistakes to fix

  • !Backers bail too early and the QB reads the coverage; fix by teaching a snap-timed drop.
  • !Backers get caught flat-footed and are late to their zones; fix by drilling the creep-then-bail footwork.
