Sam Blitz B-Gap
The Sam linebacker blitzes through the B-gap off the tackle's hip.
Concept: Sam attacks the B-gap while the tackle to that side pinches inside to open the lane.

RushBlitzDrop to coverage
14U — Attack blocks: Add get-off and block destruction so the front controls the line of scrimmage. Layer in the called blitz — one timed gap-shooter on the snap. Add the line stunt/twist to beat the offense's blocking rules. Teach the coverage drops behind the front and read run vs. pass. Combine front, pressure, and coverage — and disguise it pre-snap.

How to teach it
- 1The strong tackle pinches inside to occupy blockers and open Sam's B-gap lane.
- 2Sam attacks off the tackle's hip, aiming for the B-gap and staying tight to the pinch.
- 3Mike replaces Sam in the middle hook or takes the back in man.
Common mistakes to fix
- !Sam blitzing too wide and getting kicked out; fix by aiming tight off the tackle's inside hip.
- !Tackle not pinching and clogging Sam's lane; fix by having the tackle slant hard inside first.
