14UAttack blocks: Add get-off and block destruction so the front controls the line of scrimmage. Layer in the called blitz — one timed gap-shooter on the snap. Add the line stunt/twist to beat the offense's blocking rules. Combine front, pressure, and coverage — and disguise it pre-snap.

How to teach it

  • 1Both edges crash inside; the backers MUST scrape over the top to take contain — drill the crash-and-scrape exchange.
  • 2The edges penetrate flat to disrupt off-tackle plays.
  • 3Backers now own the edge/contain that the edges vacated.

Common mistakes to fix

  • !Backers don't scrape and the edge is left open; fix by tying the scrape to every end crash in reps.
  • !The edges crash too wide and miss the C gap; fix by teaching a tight inside slant.
