Concept: Blockers sell the reverse run before a receiver leaks open downfield against the flowing defense.

14UIntroduce: Nail the snap/exchange, aim the right hole, and finish downhill. Add pre-snap motion to stress the defense's edge. Add the fake/mesh — and a counter off the very same look. Add the play-action throw off this run action. Run it fast both directions and check into it by defensive look.

How to teach it

  • 1Blockers sell the reverse run before a receiver leaks open downfield.
  • 2Wing takes the jet reverse, then stops and throws back across the field.
  • 3Receiver slips behind the flowing defense for the throwback.

Common mistakes to fix

  • !Wing rushes the throw off-balance — teach him to stop, plant, and set.
  • !Receiver releases too early — sell the reverse run first.
