How to teach it
- 1Rep the run fake to hold the safety.
- 2Coach the wheel route's transition from flat to vertical.
- 3Teach the QB to read the safety to pick post or wheel.
Common mistakes to fix
- !Wheel rounds off and slows; fix by teaching a sharp turn upfield.
- !QB throws late; fix with timing reps off the fake.
