Stacked
A gun spread that stacks two receivers to a side and attacks the edge, the interior gaps, and play-action all off one picture.
Best fit
Teams with a couple of athletes who can run the edge and a quarterback who can hand off and pitch cleanly from the gun.
Base formation & personnel
Five linemen with Y and X split to the strong side on the line, H in the slot and Z stacked directly behind X, F as the wing, and the QB in the gun. Every play runs to both hands.
Core philosophy
- →One look, five answers — Sweep, Blast, Dive, Counter, and Post all start from the same stacked picture.
- →Get your best athlete the ball in space on the edge, then punish the crash inside with Dive and Counter.
- →Built-in play-action (Post Pass) keeps the safety honest once the run is going.
